CANADIAN BARN DANCE
The term "barn dance" is usually associated with community-oriented events,often for people who do not normally dance.

The Canadian Barn Dance is a Ceilidh.
It means with traditional Irish or Scottish dancing.

Barn dances as social dances were popular in Ireland until the 1950's.

BOANOPSTEKKER
This folk dance is from The Netherlands.
It was originally a girl´s dance.

A few of the basic steps:

*Walk 8 steps to circle left. Starting with left foot.
*Walk 9 steps to circle right.
*Take 4 walking steps into the centre.
*Take 4 walking steps backing out of the centre.
*Repeat them both twice.
*Pull the circle out at two sides.Two movements.
*Back out to make a circle again with 4 walking steps.
*Take 8 slip steps to the left.
*Hop on right,kick left heel forward 8 steps.
*Repeat it all.

LA VINCHIA

LA VINCHIA 

Vinca or Bal Del Truc is an Italian folk dance.
La Vinchia is a circle dance very popular on the Adriatic coast.

This piece of dance is the easiest of the sequence.
This kind of dances are very common in the centre of Europe.

Level of difficulty: *

Choreography
1.Name a few participants/whole group.
2.Participants hold hands in a circle.



3.They walk to the right and they change direction.
4.When the music indicates, they stop,clap stomp,hold,put upand stomp their feet.
5.They link their arms with their dance partner and do three turns.
6.They stop,hold hand and put them up.
